One of the most common treatments utilized by chiropractors is spinal manipulation, which involves applying a very specific force over a joint in order to restore motion and correct function.  Our practitioners also use a range of other therapies to help you get your condition under control quickly.  You will likely be provided with exercises to perform at home.  You may be provided with suggestions for ergonomic modifications for work and home.

Laser

Therapeutic laser, often referred to as "cold laser" or "low level laser therapy" is a form of light energy that can be used to treat a variety of injuries.  It utilizes specific wavelengths of light which penetrate the skin and affect the tissues in the area being treated.  Laser can decrease pain and inflammation while promoting healing.  It can be very effective in treating a number of musculoskeletal injuries including arthritis, neck pain, back pain, tendinitis, shoulder and knee injuries as well as fibromyalgia.
